Womens Conference

**WARNING: Picture overload!!**

Its been a while now, so you've probably seen posts from others about Women's Conference. I agree with them all and say it was an amazing, spiritual, and fun adventure/trip. I can't wait to do it next year!
Cari, Angelee, Liz and I were able to drive out to Utah together and Cari (and Matt) were willing to let us take their car. We had a loooong night of driving straight to St.George, w/ lots of stories, laughing, crying and Angelee's loud talking for 13 hours. :) (She was keeping us drivers awake)

Cari and Liz, before stopping at Brittney's in Plumas Lake

After dinner at Del Taco. Yummy chicken tacos!
Things started to get a little crazy after this.

The main reason we drove all the way to St.George was so that Liz could see her family. She hadn't seen her mom in over a year and her sister was running the Iron Man! Liz had special shirts made so they could all cheer her on.

This is my sister Lorene and her youngest boy Hayden. She was kind enough to let us drop in last minute and get cleaned up after our long night. It was so nice seeing her again. We had a chance to talk and catch up before we took off again. She made us the best chicken salad sandwiches too for lunch! Thanks again Jubun!!

And we're off again on our way up north to Provo, this time minus Liz.
Angelee provided this snack that we enjoyed, especially Cari.

As we were driving we saw a sign for a historical sight and Cari and I really wanted to stop. The snow was starting to stick to the ground a little though so we decided to play it safe and just stop at the gas station. Here's Cari striking a pose in front of the Pioneer building next to the station.

One of the many gorgeous mountains in Utah

We finally made it to Conference. Here we are at the beginning of friday morning's session, minus Nichole, who got sick the night before.

After a long day of spiritual uplift we went to The Brick Oven for dinner. Michelle and Brigitte, plus baby Davis, met us. We had the most delicious pizza and home-made root beer!! I've been craving it ever since I got home.

I was so excited to see baby Davis for the first time! Evan was nice enough to let Brigitte come without the older boys so she could hang out for the night. He is such a sweetie! Holding a new baby is always dangerous.

We played the fun name game at Jana's. Here's Katie trying to describe her name to our team. Our expressions crack me up!

Mishie Moo loves dogs. Enough said. : )

Cari had a hold of the camera and was taking some crazy shots. Here's just one of her and Jana

Saturday Cari and I drove up to Sandy so she could visit with her sister Katie, whom she hadn't seen in 2 years. We had a great time catching up.

On the way back down to Pleasant Grove Cari and I got a little lost. We were trying to find Desseret Book, but couldn't. Fortunately for us we found the Mt. Timpanogos temple! Cari had been wanting to see it and we couldn't find it when we tried. It was so beautiful. If you've never been on temple grounds you must go! You won't feel the spirit like it anywhere else.

We saw this awesome tree house and had to snap a picture of it for future use. Cari even drove up into these peoples drive way to see it. It goes up around the backside of the tree and there's a satellite and everything!

It was snowing on the morning of our drive home. Here's Cari and Angelee getting the windshields ready. (It was 5:30 in the a.m. by the way)

Here we are on the drive home. Exhausted, but ready for more hours of fun and laughter.
(Don't hate me! )

Thank you so much everyone for an amazing time. It was really needed!

I have been craving brick oven ever since that night as well. I tried to convince Dat to go there for his birthday but he said no. It was so fun to get to hang out with you.
