Mothers Day

My mother's day started out w/ a yummy pancake breakfast, a beautiful hand-crafted flower card and plenty of time to get myself ready for church. Rob spoke in sacrament meeting and did a great job!! A member in the ward told him he'd be a good motivational speaker.

He told some nice stories about his mom and said some very sweet things about me. : ) We ended the day at my parents' house w/ my sister Jenette's and brother Aaron's families. We reinacted 3 stories from my mom's growing up years and looked at a little slide show my dad put together of her. Being w/ my family always makes me happy and makes any day special.

The other morning while I was playing w/ Owen in his room the following conversation occurred:

Mom- "Owen, I sure love you ! You're my favorite sOn!"

Owen-"I'm not a sUn, I'm Owen! That's a sUn" and he pointed to the book that was on the floor next to us. : )

Needless to say we had a fun time trying to learn the differences between sUn and sOn.

I'm so grateful to be blessed w/ 2 beautiful children! I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!
