Snakes Again

Last year we found some red racer snakes nesting in the alley behind our back yard.

They're back...sort of.

We haven't seen them in the usual spot, but tonight Rob was moving some dirt and rocks that he piled on top of an old tree stump and to our surprise there were red racers nesting there.

In these pics you can see one of the snakes Rob is holding up with a stick. When he found them we all just had to stop what we were doing (getting ready for bed) and come outside to check it out (that's why Owen's in his pajamas)
