We had Owen's 2nd birthday party Saturday.
It was a lot of fun...lots of kids came and they had fun in the water fountains that shoot out of the ground at the park.
We had a pinata for the kids, that's always fun.
We sort of re-used a pinata from last year, so this donkey didn't hold together as well as we had planned. The zip-ties that Rob used to stitch it up broke when Grace took her third swing.
But, even though only a few kids got to swing at it they were all really excited when it started raining candy and toys as the donkey split open.
After the candy was picked up we let the kids take some more swings at the donkey till the legs came off. The adults wished there was another pinata so they could unload on some stress, ha.
Raeanne made a really neat firetruck cake for Owen since he has been so into firetrucks for a while. It's unusual to see Owen without a firetruck in his hand, (if not a firetruck he'll have a motorcycle or a train).

What a great turn out. Thanks to all our friends and family that made this a wonderful birthday party for Owen. He was talking about it for the rest of the day and into the evening:)

Looks like a great party. Love the fire-engine cake. Will we see the same pinata again next year? Rob better practice his stitching!
Fun party!! I have never seen a two year old do such a good job at blowing out the candles. I got such a kick out of that. (by the way, cute kid in the background of that video!)
Happy Birthday to your little man! That water park in St. George looks so fun! Where is it?
