Christmas Tree Cutting 2007

What a beautiful day we had this year for our Christmas tree hunting and cutting.
It was chilly, the wind was brisk, but we didn't struggle with any snow or mud this time.

Getting ready at the house we discovered that Owen sort of resembles one of Santa's little elves. Hmmm, wonder if he could work Santa in to giving daddy a new truck this Christmas. He he.

Since the weather was so nice, we took our time in searching for a tree that was just right.

Dad and Raeanne hard at it to fall one of the four trees we harvested.

Even with the a shocking, cool breeze on his face, Owen helped us scout out the perfect tree.
Jalen was a big help. She made sure that we didn't leave any saws behind.

She also helped us cut the trees, actually, she did most the work while we watched.
Look at that beautiful, blue Christmas tree.

Ahhhh! So worth the day long trip, tank of gas, cold fingers and frozen nose, Landen's projectile vomit in the Parrott's truck, Owen's blow-out up his back, and hiking around in the woods with dad for another hour after finding the perfect tree just to make sure there wasn't another one that was better. Priceless.
