An Attitude of Gratitude

So it's Thanksgiving time again, holy cow, where'd 2007 go?! Oh my, that means, dare I say it, Christmas is just around the corner, already peaking around the corner if you ask me:)

Since everyone is expressing what they're grateful for, I think it's time that I do the same. Can I just say "ditto" to what my friends have posted on their blogs and be done with it? (ha).

That which I am grateful for:

  • A loving, gentle wife and adorably, alert son who is healthy as can be.

  • A comfortable home that we can afford.

  • A career that is stable and offers opportunity for me to grow and promote.

  • Family close by, especially our parents, so that Owen can know how wonderful they are, and have a relationship with them.

  • The gospel in its' fullness in my life.

  • My calling to serve with the Young Men in the Hmong Branch of the Oroville area.

  • To be a citizen in the U.S.A., even though our government isn't perfect, (ha, far from it), we have many rights that we take for granted.

  • That I don't have to fight traffic during my commute to and from work.

  • My great staff and manager.

  • Fruit and vegetables available year round. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies close by since we have so much agriculture in our area.

  • Running water and indoor plumbing, toilets, garbage service, electricity and gas, heating and cooling forced air, telephones and internet.

  • Dirt bikes and that I can still afford the gas to ride em.

  • Colors and smells.

  • Every year of my life gets better and better.
