We got to have a much needed mini family "vacation" last weekend to Lakeport and Fort Bragg. I say "vacation" because with 2 toddlers and a baby, you don't really get a chance to rest, relax, sleep, etc. The kids did have a blast though!
We were fortunate enough to be able to stay with Tiffanie's parents in Lakeport. They have a large enough house to hold all of our families (Jed & Tiff's, Matt 'n' Cari's, plus ours) and lots of outdoor space, including a beautifully landscaped pool and front yard.
It was so nice to see and smell the coast again! We haven't been for years. I just love the Pacific coastline. Rocky, deep blue freezing waters, and some great tide pools!

Me and Tiff enjoying the down time on the blanket.
We mainly went at Rob's request for his Father's Day present. He is such a hard working dad and really deserved the little get-away. Oh, Matt and Jed did too of course
Laci didn't do too well on the car ride there. If any of you have ever driven it you know how windy the road is. She got car sick all over her only sweater, and it was freezing out for a while. Thankfully Cari was more prepared than I and had an extra sweater she could borrow. Thanks friend! ")
We tried over and over to get a good family shot, this was one of the better ones. Owen was either looking grouchy or puckering up, and Rob and or Laci weren't looking. I'm proud to say that I looked great in all the pictures! I have to gloat about that because it is a very rare occurrence, just ask Rob and he'll tell you all about it!
Jane was her usual mellow self. She never really fussed except when hungry or if she was wanting a change.

What a fun trip! You're kiddos are such little cuties!!
Glad you had a great time. We have our own memories of that road to the coast. Yikes!
Looks like fun! Nothing like the Pacific coast, esp. up north. I love your pictures, you do look good in all of them. :)
