All I Want for Christmas is My......Green-2-Thing-Tractor

As Christmas approached this year Owen made it very well known that he wanted a "Green-2-Thing-Tractor" from Santa.
It was all he talked about.
A 2 thing tractor is a back-hoe, which usually comes with a bucket on the front and a back-hoe on the back. Finding a tractor that fit this description was no problem; there was an issue, however, with finding a green one. We searched everywhere for a green one; ToysRUs, Walmart, Target, other toy stores, Tractor Supply, and even the John Deere Tractor Store in Chico and Yuba City. Well, it turns out no one makes green 2 thing back-hoes, they're all yellow or orange, not even John Deere makes green ones; sure they make green tractors with a bucket on the front and green tractors with a back-hoe on the back, but not green tractors with both the back-hoe on back and a bucket on the front.

So Santa had to improvise; he took a Yellow-2-Thing-Tractor.....


And turned it in to a Green-2-Thing-Tractor,
Owen was in heaven when he opened it Christmas morning; and it hasn't left his side since:) He slept with it too, of course:)
