Almanor Camping 2009

Our little family went to Lake Almanor for Labor Day. My parents took 2 of Jenette's kids up w/ them. Owen had such a blast playing in the dirt and riding bikes and scooters with his cousins!

Our family slept in my parents tent. Some of you might think I'm crazy for doing this w/ a 3 month old, but it was actually great. (Except for the fact that I was freezing my fanny off all night. It was about 40 degrees!) Laci slept all night and Owen put up w/ all of our tossing and turning. He slept in between me and Rob.

If you've never been to Lake Almanor you must make it a goal to go! It is soo beautiful. You can see Mt. Lassen from the lake and are surrounded by beautiful nature.

This was taken the night we got there. It was late and we were tired. I think the flash scared Laci. :)

Laci sure loves her Nana! She takes good care of her. :)

I really liked how the smoke was coming out of these 2 holes. Rob made fun of me for taking pictures of it!

We sure had a great trip and look forward to going camping again! A word of advice though if you're going to be sleeping on the ground.... bring an air mattress!!!
