It's Beginning to Look a Little Like....

...Christmas!

We went w/ my parents and Jenette's family to cut Christmas trees yesterday. We've started a new tradition to cut them the weekend before Thanksgiving. There's no people, and most importantly, the weather is great. We've had some fun experiences in the rain and snow before. :)

Owen loves Ritz crackers. He held on to this one for most of the trip.

It's hard to tell in this picture, but Owen's nose and hands were red and his lips were blue.
Poor guy couldn't keep them warm.

Here's Jenette's fam. It wasn't easy getting the little guys to
"smile nice" and "look"!
I think they got the best tree this year. The needles are nice and thick, beautiful silver tips, and it smells soooo good!

This picture is so funny to me! We had a hard time keeping Owen next to us so my mom decided to use some bubbles to distract him. The best part though is that she stood right in front of the camera waiving the wand, throwing the junk on everyone, and getting them in our picture. :)

Cool trees. What a good idea to get them early. We are supposed to get ours this next weekend with Paul and Sarah. Can't wait, but I really can't wait for Christmas and to see everyone :) Owen is so cute, and Colton is going to have so much fun playing with him.

So cute! Wish we could have been there for the tree cutting outing. We will be getting our scrub-pine bush in a couple of weeks. The kids are excited.
