Memory Lane

Wow does this ever seem like forever ago or what. If I remember right this photo was taken back in 1995 or 1996, when I was still in high school. We used to get together at least every 5 yrs for a family reunion with my dad's side of the family. Granny was always really good about getting the family together even though we were all so far apart, spanning coast to coast.

In this photo is (left to right) Gma Powell, Aunt Kathy, me, and Shirley (Granny).

It feels like it was only yesterday that we were there at the forebay one nice afternoon enjoying each other's company...now all us cousins are grown, some with children of our own, Gma Powell has since passed on, my how she was a wonderful woman.

Even though life is the best it's ever been for me and my family now, you can't help but miss those good ole days and sort of wanna revisit back then.
