Since we're on the subject of Owen grabbing and reaching for things, Thursday night while we were sitting at our table enjoying dinner, Owen surprised us. He usually sits in our laps rather than in his high chair or exersaucer. Well, Thursday evening while I was eating and he was in my lap I leaned forward just a bit in order to take my bite over my plate....and to our shock Owen grabbed my plate and pulled it toward him. Luckily, I barely caught the plate as it slid off the table's edge toward our laps. Whew! Close call:) It would've been a mess. He's been reaching and grabbing so well, we're really proud of him. Any day now I should be able to ask him for the remote and he'll bring it to me, ha.

It's Christmas Time in Our House
Well it's December and only 24 more days till Christmas, so it was time to bring in our Christmas tree. We cut our tree down 2 weeks ago, but left it outside so it wouldn't dry out in the house and not make it to Christmas...what good is a Christmas tree if it has no needles come Christmas morning?...ha.
Once we brought the tree in the living room Owen couldn't keep his eyes off of it. He watched intently as we situated it in its' stand and put it in place. As soon as Owen was close enough he started reaching for the tree and feeling its' needles. He was also sure to grab at the xmas lights as Raeanne was untangling them in order for me to wrap them around our tree.

Yay, I love Christmas time. Decorating for Christmas is the best. So about 18 more days and our little boys get to play together. I can't wait.
That's funny about Owen grabbing the plate, I used to think it was so cool when Andrew did that, but now it's just annoying when Colton does it.
